We are seeking an experienced Ad Operations Manager on a contract basis to support maternity leave coverage. This is a fixed-term independent contractor engagement, expected to last approximately 8 months, with the option to extend up to one year.</p><p><br></p><p>The Ad Operations Manager will play a key role in the coordination and management of multiple online advertising campaigns across our premium brands, including MutualFunds.com, MunicipalBonds.com, and Dividend.com.</p><p><br></p><p>Day-to-day ad operations will be the primary focus of this role, but you will also be client-facing—helping manage our ultra-premium advertising products and relationships with some of the largest financial services institutions in the world.</p><p>The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and take pride in getting things done accurately and efficiently.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Manage multiple advertising campaigns simultaneously from start to finish, including forecasting, booking, troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting</li><li>Coordinate with clients on campaign assets and test creative across devices</li><li>Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot ad-serving issues</li><li>Monitor campaign pacing to ensure full delivery, produce performance reports, and proactively adjust campaigns to mitigate underperformance</li><li>Provide data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization based on advertiser goals and product performance</li><li>Serve as Mitre Media’s day-to-day post-sale client point of contact</li><li>Draft and edit pricing proposals</li><li>Provide screenshot decks upon campaign launches and for all creative rotations</li><li>Prepare and support monthly invoicing</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>BA / BS degree or equivalent experience</li><li>1+ years of experience in a similar ad operations role, preferably working with an SSP such as Google Ad Manager</li><li>Experience managing PMPs</li><li>Familiarity with digital ad sales and measurement tools (e.g., LiveIntent, Google Analytics, IAS, Moat, DoubleVerify, LinkedIn)</li><li>Extremely high attention to detail with a natural inclination to double-check work</li><li>Strong project management and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business, and sales teams</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; personable and professional</li><li>Strong listening skills with a talent for asking thoughtful questions</li><li>Solid understanding of web and mobile user behavior and trends</li><li>Proficiency with spreadsheets and Google Workspace</li><li>Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys execution-focused work</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Why You Should Join the Mitre Team</p><ul><li>Competitive compensation for a temporary role</li><li>Fully remote work environment</li><li>Opportunity to work with a collaborative, high-performing team</li><li>Exposure to premium advertisers and major financial institutions</li><li>Respectful, open, and supportive culture focused on results and growth</li></ul><li><br></li>Create Your Resume First
