<p>History Academic Mentor - Durham</p><p>I am looking for a History Mentor to work in an inner-city school in Durham. The role is full time and will last from January until May initially.</p><p>History Academic Mentor – What the Role Involves</p><ul><li>Providing targeted academic support in History lessons</li><li>Leading small-group and one-to-one History interventions across KS3 and KS4</li><li>Supporting pupils in developing analytical and essay-writing skills</li><li>Assisting with progress tracking, assessment and pupil feedback</li><li>Working closely with class teachers to tailor support to individual student needs</li></ul><p>History Academic Mentor – What The School Is Looking For<br>The ideal candidate will be a History graduate with a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a UK University Experience working with young people in any setting is valuable, particularly in a tutoring, classroom, or mentoring capacity. You'll need to bring energy, clarity in communication, and a genuine desire to help pupils thrive in History.
