<b>Accessibility Lead (Global Design Systems)</b><br><br>

<br>
<b>Responsibilities:</b><b><br></b>
<br>
<br>• Audit and evaluate design system components and patterns for accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA, AODA).<br>
<br>• Define accessibility standards and contribute to system-wide guidelines, documentation, and tooling.<br>
<br>• Partner with designers, engineers, and QA teams to implement accessible components across web and mobile platforms, including React and React Mobile frameworks.<br>
<br>• Conduct accessibility reviews during the design, development, and release cycles of system components.<br>
<br>• Support inclusive design practices across content, interaction, and visual design contributions.<br>
<br>• Collaborate with global accessibility, compliance, and legal teams to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.<br>
<br>• Deliver accessibility training, workshops, and office hours to product and design teams.<br>
<br>• Promote use of assistive technology testing, automated testing tools (e.g., axe, Lighthouse), and manual testing practices (screen readers, keyboard navigation, color contrast).<br>
<br>• Contribute to and support a community of practice focused on accessibility within the broader product development organization.<br>
<br>
<b>What you will need to succeed:</b><b><br></b>
<br>
<br>• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in a related field preferred.<br>
<br>• IAAP CPACC, WAS, or CPWA certification, or equivalent accessibility credential.<br>
<br>• 3–5+ years of experience in digital accessibility, inclusive design, or a related role within a large, global organization.<br>
<br>• Expert understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2, WAI-ARIA, and accessibility APIs.<br>
<br>• Familiarity with accessibility requirements in design systems and component libraries (e.g., React, React Mobile frameworks).<br>
<br>• Proficiency with Figma, Storybook, and design system tooling.<br>
<br>• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe, VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS.<br>
<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills.<br>
<br>• Ability to translate technical accessibility requirements into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.<br>
