The Role
The Account Executive will be responsible for growing LiveTracking’s production monitoring customer base in the food & beverage production industry. As a sales professional, you bring a proven track record of building funnel, negotiating, closing deals, and maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the VP, Product & Operations, the Account Executive is a key part of a dedicated and mindful team of professionals focused on the segment. If you are proactive, confident, and committed to making an impact, this role offers the opportunity to drive growth in a mission-driven company and make a tangible difference in the continuous improvement and operational excellence of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a robust pipeline from lead to sales conversion, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
- Use proven sales methodologies to become a trusted advisor to LiveTracking’s prospect base
- Manage all stages of the sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Cultivate and nurture new relationships with market leaders and decision-makers, including senior executives of prospect organizations.
- Conduct discovery calls to uncover the unique needs and pain points of each prospect.
- Leverage team members and technical resources to help you throughout the sales process.
- Leverage customer feedback and market insights to continuously refine LiveTracking’s offerings, ensuring alignment with both client needs and company growth objectives.
Target Skills:
- Sales Expertise & Negotiation: The Account Executive should have a strong track record of generating funnel and consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas. They must proactively pursue new business opportunities and use effective negotiation skills.
- Product & Market Knowledge: Understand the features and functions of LiveTracking’s offerings, and apply this knowledge in the context of user experience, business, and the broader industry. The Account Executive should be driven to continuously improve their knowledge, staying ahead of trends in the manufacturing landscape to effectively demonstrate value and tailor solutions.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. You will need to deliver persuasive, tailored presentations to clinical decision-makers, manage expectations, and leverage a Challenger Sales mindset to steer conversations toward successful outcomes.
- Problem-Solving, Proactivity & Adaptability: A successful Account Executive should have a proactive approach to identifying customer challenges and proposing tailored solutions. They must also be adaptable to changes in the market, client needs, or sales strategy, and driven to consistently improve processes.
- Relationship Building: Quickly establish trust and rapport with prospects by tailoring your approach to different personalities and communication styles, ensuring long-lasting relationships.
Measures of Success:
- Revenue & Sales Quota Achievement: Achievement of individual sales quotas (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Pipeline Development & Conversion Rates: Growth of a healthy sales pipeline and the conversion of leads into closed deals.
- Sales Cycle Optimization: Drive efficiency by shortening the sales cycle and effectively moving prospects through the funnel, ensuring timely deal closures.
- Collaboration & Team Contribution: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive overall business success.
Requirements & attributes that will ensure your success in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of sales experience in SaaS solutions
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong team-player ethos.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of influencing C-class executives and key decision-makers.
- Experience in early stage sales teams is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Experience using Google Docs, HubSpot, Apollo, and Slack.
