About the Role:
The Account Manager role is ideal for driven individuals who are based in the greater Toronto region. The ideal candidate is a natural prospector and closer, skilled in capital equipment sales with a consultative and value-added approach. You’ll manage and expand a loyal customer base while actively generating new business across industrial markets. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a hybrid of field sales, customer relationship building, and solution selling.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Conduct prospecting activities through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, uncovering unconsidered or latent needs.
Execute a full consultative sales process, matching technical solutions to client requirements.
Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and equipment demonstrations.
Generate referrals and expand business through trusted client partnerships.
Qualifications:
Proven success in capital equipment sales or similar consultative B2B environments.
Strong time management, territory planning, and organizational skills.
Familiar with CRM tools and understanding of the sales funnel and pipeline management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel within territory.
