Job Title: Amazon Connect Operational Engineer (Contract, Remote)
Contract Duration: Till December 19, 2025 (possible extension)
Location: Remote (Canada)
You will work in an Agile environment, delivering continuous service improvements for Amazon Connect, supporting a scalable and secure cloud-based contact center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Amazon Connect and related AWS services
- Configure and optimize Splunk for log analysis
- Build and maintain CloudWatch alerts and dashboards
- Enforce security best practices and governance across AWS
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in AWS cloud infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Connect
- Proficient in Python, Bash, and tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Hands-on experience with Splunk, CloudWatch, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with tools like Ansible, DynamoDB, S3
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
