About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst & Visualization Lead to drive the transformation of our Business Financial Services Analytical Management Platform (BFS AMP). In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives to simplify and automate processes, enhance user experience, and transition AMP to a fully business-managed platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring together advanced analytics, stakeholder engagement, and data storytelling to deliver high-impact, user-centric BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the simplification and automation of BFS AMP through stakeholder interviews, needs assessments, and design thinking methodologies (e.g., persona creation, journey mapping).
- Design and build interactive BI dashboards and reports in Tableau to support the handover of AMP from Technology & Operations (T&O) to Business ownership.
- Reimagine data visualizations and streamline the delivery of actionable insights based on stakeholder priorities and practical use cases.
- Apply UI/UX principles to deliver intuitive and visually engaging front-end BI solutions.
- Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of analytics solutions.
- Document workflows and support a seamless transition to Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations through robust handover practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, visualization, and business analysis.
- Proven experience with stakeholder engagement and use of design thinking techniques (e.g., interviews, mapping, prototyping).
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Expert-level Tableau skills, with a strong portfolio of interactive dashboards.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for executive-level storytelling and presentations.
- Strong foundation in UI/UX design concepts applied to data products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications such as CMA or an MBA are a strong asset.
- Demonstrated experience designing data products with UI/UX methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as SAS, Python, and Dataiku.
