Role Description:
• Designing and executing automated tests, collaborating with development teams, and improving API quality.
• They are also responsible for creating and maintaining test scripts, identifying and resolving issues, and potentially mentoring junior testers.
Required Skill Set:
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java, understanding of HTTP protocols, knowledge of testing frameworks (like Postman or Rest Assured), and experience with API documentation tools (like Swagger) are essential.
• Additionally, strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills are crucial for designing, executing, and interpreting test results.
