Responsibilities:
- Design architectural plans for ICI, multi-residential, and manufacturing projects (new builds, renovations, additions).
- Produce site plans, floor plans, elevations, and renderings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet design, budget, and timeline goals.
- Handle zoning, site plan approvals, permits, and municipal submissions.
- Present proposals and adapt designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay current with design trends, building materials, and technology.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years’ experience in architectural design; 2+ years in general contracting.
- Post-secondary education in Architecture (preferred).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion (or similar).
- Knowledge of building codes and construction methods.
- Strong design eye, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
