With this store, were focusing exclusively on the craft ice creams weve been pioneering for 35+ years.</p><p><br /></p><p>We strive for a high energy, kind and positive team. We believe in serving our handcrafted ice creams in bright, beautiful, and welcoming environments. We eat a lot of ice cream.</p><p><br /></p><p>At Scooped by Demetres, we don&#39;t recruit for roles, we recruit for attitude and personality. As an Artisan, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting our guests; explaining our ice cream flavours; and scooping and serving delicious ice cream. There will also be a little food prep/production in the kitchen/cafe. </p><p><br /></p><p>This is a part-time position, requiring shifts during afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays.</p><p><br /></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Provide warm + personable service</li><li>Articulate the craft behind our ice creams smartly each time</li><li>Guide guests towards their (soon-to-be) favourite ice cream flavours</li><li>Scoop and serve a lot of ice cream<br><br></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Able to work quickly and efficiently while multitasking</li><li>Able to learn quickly, follow directions, maintain a clean station, and be organized</li><li>Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time</li><li>Able to clearly & kindly communicate with guests and colleagues<br /></li></ul><p><br />We have 5 Guiding Principles that we live by.
