The role 


Accelex is looking to hire a Senior Automation Engineer to the engineering team.  The role is pivotal in driving the evolution of our automation capabilities, moving beyond traditional Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to architect and implement sophisticated intelligent automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in RPA development and a keen interest in leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance and expand our automation footprint. The candidate should also be willing to evaluate new tools and technologies, including the rapidly emerging world of agentic processes. 


The candidate should have experience in RPA or programmatic automation. As a Senior Automation Engineer an excellent knowledge of Python is essential.

Responsibilities and requirements 

  • 5+ years experience 
  • Excellent knowledge of Python 
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks and deploying LLM-based solutions 
  • Strong focus on testing, observability and production monitoring 
  • Defining data pipelines and developing microservices for deployment on AWS lambda or Kubernetes 
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on best practices in RPA and intelligent automation 
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in RPA, LLM and agentic technologies. Prototype and evaluate new tools and techniques to continuously enhance our automation capabilities 
  • Collaborate with Product and Client Success to identify, analyze, and assess business processes for automation suitability 
  • Consider and manage information security risk in the execution of all activities, and support the organization in its information security obligations 

Qualifications 


  • A Masters degree or Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience in quantitative field (e.g. Physics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Engineering).
