<p>Job Summary<br><br>We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs, educating them about various strains and products, and ensuring a welcoming and informative shopping experience.</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection based on individual needs and preferences.</li><li>Educate customers about different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.</li><li>Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized display of products, ensuring proper merchandising standards are met.</li><li>Manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and upselling products when appropriate.</li><li>Adhere to all compliance regulations related to the sale of cannabis products.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.</li><li>Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel for inventory management.</li><li>Ability to operate computers and POS systems effectively.</li><li>Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience in hospitality or leadership roles is advantageous.</li><li>Capability to perform heavy lifting as required for product stocking and inventory management.</li><li>A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various strains is highly desirable.
