We provide a qualified Behaviour Specialist who has the experience and expertise to support with the unique needs of an identified patient or a unit. The more case information that can be shared with our Service Coordinator helps to ensure a match between worker and patient/unit.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Our Staff are used as a support in situations where the behaviour of the patient is affecting their quality of care</li><li>While our staff can provide some personal care, the focus is to support and manage patient behaviour</li><li>Work effectively with other hospital staff members</li><li>Available to work 24/7 in healthcare settings</li></ul><p><b>Skills</b></p><ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours.</li><li>A College Diploma or University Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field (eg. DSW, SSW, CYC)</li><li>Police background check – Vulnerable Sector Screening</li><li>First Aid/CPR certification</li><li>Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
