<p>We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Behaviour Interventionist (BI) to join our team This position involves supporting a playful and energetic 5-year-old boy on the autism spectrum in a home setting by implementing individualized behaviour intervention programs.</p><p>Position Details:</p><ul><li>Location: Richmond, BC</li><li>Schedule: Three after-shcool sessions per week (3:30 or 4 pm–5 or 5:30 pm ; flexible on days)</li><li>Start Date: As soon as possible</li><li>Training and Supervision: Comprehensive training and ongoing supervision will be provided by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)</li><li>Rate: $25-35 per hour based on experience</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Implement individualized behaviour programs focused on language development, cognitive skills, following instructions and schedules, and social skills</li><li>Actively engage in play-based learning activities</li><li>Collect and record session data accurately</li><li>Participate in scheduled team meetings</li><li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Experience working with young children, particularly those with autism</li><li>Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles is preferred</li><li>Educational background or current studies in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or Speech-Language Pathology are considered strong assets</li><li>Reliable, enthusiastic, and creative approach to working with children</li></ul><p>Additional Opportunities:</p><ul><li>Based on performance and availability, there are opportunities to join additional teams and work with other learners.</li></ul><p>If you are passionate about working with children and want to make a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you</p><p>Job Type: Part-time</p><p>Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul><p>Application question(s):</p><ul><li>Are you a high-energy person with strong playing skills?</li><li>Are you able to commit to the position for at least 6 months?</li><li>Please specify your weekly availability for the sessions.</li><li>What hourly rate are you hoping for?</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>working with children with special needs: 1 year (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>Create Your Resume First
