Job Title: Big Data Developer
Location: Mississauga – 3 days – Hybrid
Contract duration: 12 months plus extension
Qualifications:
• 6-10 years’ experience in Application Development in Big Data
• 3-5 years’ experience working with Spark, Python, PySpark
• 6-10 years’ experience working with Data Modelling & DWH Designing ,PL/SQL and HQLs, Hadoop, Hive, ETL Designing
• Team player and self-motivator
• Good communications skills
• Able to plan, prioritize and organize work to align with management goals
• Keen eye for identifying potential design flaws and proposing alternative solutions
• Hands on technical person in database (RDBMS, NoSQL, Big Data)
• Hands on experience with LLM (commercial and open source), LangChain, LlamaIndex, Retrieval Augmented Generation(RAG), and Vector Databases
• Good Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, RESTful API design would be a plus.
• Knowledge in Securities Services business modeling, Risk Weighted Assets Optimization and Netting Agreements and Margin Dispute validation is a plus
