Role: Big Data Developer
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ months (possible extension)
Job Overview:
A hands-on technical advisor and strategic solution provider. Will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with significant changes; developing/implementing strategies and processes that enable the organization to innovate and grow fast.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in Application Development in Big Data.
- 3-5 years of experience working with Spark, Python, PySpark.
- 6-10 years of experience working with Data Modelling & DWH Designing ,PL/SQL and HQLs, Hadoop, Hive, ETL Designing.
- Able to plan, prioritize and organize work to align with management goals.
- Keen eye for identifying potential design flaws and proposing alternative solutions.
- Hands on technical person in database (RDBMS, NoSQL, Big Data).
- Hands on experience with LLM (commercial and open source), LangChain, LlamaIndex, Retrieval Augmented Generation(RAG), and Vector Databases.
- Good Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, RESTful API design would be a plus.
- Knowledge in Securities Services business modeling, Risk Weighted Assets Optimization and Netting Agreements and Margin Dispute validation is a plus.
