Position Summary:
We’re seeking a charismatic, well-connected, and results-driven Brand Ambassador to lead advocacy and brand-building efforts for a premium tequila across Ontario, with a core focus on the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The ideal candidate is a passionate expert in spirits and hospitality, capable of forging strong, authentic relationships with bartenders, key trade partners, influencers, and consumers. This is not a direct sales role-it’s about visibility, advocacy, and education.
You’ll bring approachability, enthusiasm, and integrity to every interaction, working closely with commercial and marketing teams to amplify awareness and support account-level growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Advocacy & Development (90%)
- Serve as the face of the brand in-market, cultivating deep connections with bars, restaurants, and distributor teams
- Deliver trainings, tastings, and trade events that authentically share the story and values behind the tequila
- Co-create and implement on-premise programs and signature serves that drive trial and awareness
- Champion best-in-class advocacy across key accounts, identifying growth opportunities in partnership with sales
Marketing & Consumer Engagement (10%)
- Represent the brand at cultural events, festivals, trade shows, and consumer activations
- Support menu development and event batching
- Collaborate with local influencers, tastemakers, and content creators
- Spot opportunities for earned PR, partnerships, and local storytelling
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in spirits, brand advocacy, or hospitality
- Strong knowledge and appreciation of tequila and agave culture (preferred)
- Must reside in the GTA and be available for regular local travel and occasional out-of-town events
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Well-connected within Ontario’s bar and hospitality scene
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Personable, inclusive, and grounded in strong values
Additional Details:
- Temporary contract through December 2025
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Some evening and weekend work required
