Arobas Personnel is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position with one of our clients located in Toronto .
- Remote : Hybrid- 3 days / week in the office
What does your day-to-day look like?
- Assist in project scope estimation, planning, and requirements prioritization , providing input on the preferred methodological approach .
- Serve as the liaison between business units and IS teams , ensuring the accurate translation of business and technical (system) requirements .
- Support Development and QA teams through the design and testing phases.
- Coordinate Business Readiness (UAT) activities for the business where applicable.
- Conduct Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring .
- Lead elicitation, collaboration, analysis, and design sessions.
- Provide consultation, business support, and readiness testing coordination .
What we’re looking for?
- College diploma (3-year program) or equivalent work experience .
- 3–5 years of Business Analyst experience, ideally in the mutual fund operations industry.
- Experience with data migration projects (databases, applications, platforms, etc.).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is an asset.
- Experience working within an Agile framework or on a Scrum team is a plus.
- Certifications such as IIBA, Business Analysis Certification, CSM, or CSPO are considered an asset.

- Proven experience working with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) , including requirement analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and solution recommendations .
- Strong knowledge of BABOK methodology and Business Analysis Best Practices .
- Excellent communication skills —both oral and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-manage , prioritize tasks efficiently, and multitask effectively.
- Comfortable leading meetings and working closely with sponsors, business stakeholders, Development, and QA teams to ensure project success.
