Our client in Toronto,is seeking a Business Analyst – Lending with experience in both retail and commercial lending operations to support a major banking integration project. This HYBRID contract will focus heavily on collateral management and will act as the primary liaison between business, operations, and technology teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery sessions to assess collateral data across two institutions
- Map, reconcile, and streamline collateral processes
- Support data migration, validation, and system integration efforts
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and credit risk teams to ensure regulatory alignment
- Draft detailed documentation including BRDs, process flows, and user stories
- Provide support during UAT phases
Qualifications:
- Strong background in retail and commercial lending operations
- Expertise in collateral management, valuation, and system integration
- Experience with system integration projects, data mapping, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Detail-oriented and organized project contributor
Nice to Have:
- Experience with loan origination systems
- Experience working on banking mergers or transformation projects
- Bilingual in English and French
