We’re Hiring: Business Development Representative
Location: Trenton, Ontario
Department: Sales
Reports to: VP, Sales Operations & Vendor Management
Are you a natural connector with a hunter mindset who thrives on building relationships and turning prospects into customers? We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us uncover new opportunities and drive growth through outbound prospecting and meaningful client engagement.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect and generate qualified B2B leads via cold calls, emails, and social outreach
- Research and identify key decision-makers at target accounts
- Book meetings for our Business Development Managers to move deals forward
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads in our CRM
- Follow up and nurture relationships to advance the sales cycle
- Support with reports and light admin as part of the sales team
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in B2B lead generation, inside sales, or business development (preferably in tech or communications)
- Proven outbound prospecting skills and comfort with cold outreach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, resilient, and results-driven
- Coachable with strong time management skills
- Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Experience in distribution or channel sales is a plus
