Role: Power BI Developer – Enterprise Data Analytics (Supply Chain Focus)
Full Time Opportunity
Location: Toronto, Ontario
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to deliver enterprise data analytics solutions, with a strong focus on supply chain operations (Trade, Distribution, Transportation). The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert legacy Power BI reports to GSC INSIGHTS platform.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end BI solutions following enterprise standards.
- Perform data mining, transformation, modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Build predictive models (e.g., regression, decision trees) and prescribe actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and optimize BI systems in test and production environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in enterprise data analytics with Power BI.
- Proficiency in DAX, SQL, Snowflake, and data modeling (Must Have).
- Strong experience with Secure Data Set and Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI (Must Have)
- Strong UI/UX design and programming skills (e.g., VBA, macros).
- Experience with supply chain data and master data management.
- Familiarity with ETL tools (SSIS), reporting (SSRS), and data warehousing (SSAS).
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Analytics, or related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Knowledge of Python or JavaScript for statistical computing.
- Background in BPO/shared services reporting and capacity planning.
