<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Join our team</strong></p><p>TELUS Health is looking for a certified fitness instructor to teach group fitness classes (independent contractors) at a corporate fitness facility in Toronto, ON</p><p><strong>Here&#39;s the impact you&#39;ll make and what we&#39;ll accomplish together</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for greeting participants, ensuring participant safety, and teaching strength and conditioning classes.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Downtown Toronto</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Lunchtime and/or after work classes. No late evenings or weekends. </p><p><strong>Availability:</strong> We are seeking substitute instructors to provide class coverage as needed. This is an on-call role where instructors are added to our sub list and contacted when regular instructors are unavailable. No set weekly hours.</p><p><strong>Class Type:</strong> Circuit training, strength and mobility, core-focused classes, tabatastyle intervals</p><p><strong>Here&#39;s how</strong></p><ul><li>Teach fitness classes (must have fitness instructor certification)</li><li>Greet participants in friendly and professional manner in the fitness centre</li><li>Answer participant questions about fitness</li><li>Monitor participant safety</li></ul><p><strong>You&#39;re the missing piece of the puzzle</strong></p><ul><li>1-2 years experience as a fitness Instructor</li><li>Fitness instructor certification is required</li><li>Current CPR/First Aid certificate is required</li><li>Reliable, punctual and friendly</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Who is TELUS Health?</strong></p><p>TELUS Health is empowering every person to live their healthiest life.
