Reporting to Central 1’s President and Chief Executive Officer (the “CEO”), the incoming Chief Technology Officer (the “CTO”) is a strategic business leader with a proven track record of enabling business strategy and growth through technology implementation and sustainment. A trusted partner to the CEO, Central 1’s Executive Leadership Team and its Board of Directors, the CTO is a collaborative leader whose integral role is ensuring that Central 1 has the right technology, applications and infrastructure to achieve and support its ambitious goals.
Striking the right combination of technological efficiency, risk management and incomparable internal and external client experience, the CTO modernizes Central 1’s business applications and infrastructure, strengthens its data management, data analytics capabilities and information security while developing, communicating and implementing an effective technology vision and strategy.
The CTO is responsible for leading a geographically disperse team across application development, infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, data governance and enterprise architecture. An inspirational leader, with the ability to open doors and build relationships with a multitude of key stakeholders, the incoming CTO understands Central 1’s business drivers and opportunities, is quick to assess changing landscapes, and develops creative and innovative technology solutions that reinforce and grow Central 1’s market leadership.
An effective communicator with the ability to translate long-term vision to day-to-day accountability, the CTO leads and develops Central 1’s Technology group, motivating the team to deliver innovative products and solutions that seamlessly support the business.
With a big, bold vision for what is possible, the CTO strengthens the technology systems for Central 1 and its clients by developing, communicating, and implementing an effective short and long-term strategic technology and data roadmap to support Central 1’s business goals and objectives. The CTO effectively communicates a wide range of technology, risk and operational business matters to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board while building effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including clients, vendors and key Central 1 partners.
Using a business-aligned approach to inform priorities and with proven experience excelling through technology transformation, the incoming CTO builds credibility and partnerships across the business and is astute at asking the right questions that drive effective decision-making in the best interests of Central 1.
A business-savvy and client-centric leader with 10-15+ years of technology leadership experience within the financial and professional services sectors, the incoming CTO has a proven track-record of driving enterprise change through collaboration to align technology solutions to business needs. With extensive experience in the payments industry and the technology capabilities required to deliver a competitive and modern payments platform, the CTO will have a history of successfully implementing effective managed services/programs through vendors.
Demonstrated experience developing and operating a technology stack that supports business requirements including cloud strategy and deployment, experience with treasury systems, and an MBA are all valuable assets.
With outstanding business acumen and the ability to assess and balance organizational risks and opportunities, the incoming Central 1 CTO will oversee Central 1’s overall technology solutions and effectiveness while collaboratively contributing to a highly capable Executive Leadership Team. Continually up to date on new and emerging technology and trends, the CTO serves as a persuasive advocate who optimizes and modernizes the technology required to support Central 1’s growth in ways that supports business needs while ensuring the ongoing stability, resiliency, cost effectiveness and scalability of key platforms.
