Pools may be used to staff other similar positions of various tenures and linguistic profiles at Transport Canada.</p><p>Positions to be filled : Number to be determined</p><p>Information you must provide</p><p>In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)</p><p>EDUCATION</p><p><b>ED1 : A secondary school diploma.</b></p><p><u>ED2 :</u> Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma / degree in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to aircraft maintenance and / or manufacturing.</p><p>OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION</p><p>OC : A valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence.</p><p>EXPERIENCE</p><p><b>EX1 : Recent</b></p><ul><li>experience :</li><li>Holding Aircraft Certifying Authority (ACA) or Shop Certifying Authority (SCA) in a Canadian approved aircraft maintenance organization (AMO) and / or holding certifying authority within a Canadian approved manufacturing organization,</li><li>Holding supervisory or maintenance control or quality assurance responsibilities in an AMO or Canadian approved manufacturer,</li><li>in the performance of complex activities in a wide variety of situations and has six (6) or more years of Industry experience as a licensed AME.</li><li>demonstrating an increasing level of responsibility throughout their career.</li><li>Recent, experience acquired within the last 6 years.</li><li>By extensive experience, we expect the candidate has performed complex activities in a wide variety of situations.</li></ul><p>If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)</p><p>Depending on the position being staffed, any of the following qualifications may also be deemed as an essential qualification and only candidates and persons with a priority entitlement who possess those qualifications will be considered for that specific vacancy.
