<p>Job Title:<br>Civil Construction Superintendent</p><p>Location:<br>Toronto, ON and Surrounding Areas</p><p>Employment Type:<br>Full-Time</p><p>About the Role</p><p>We are seeking an experienced<br>Civil Construction Superintendent<br>to oversee and manage day-to-day field operations on civil infrastructure projects across Toronto and the GTA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervising crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Oversee all aspects of civil construction projects including roads, bridges, utilities, earthworks, and site development.</li><li>Supervise field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards.</li><li>Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.</li><li>Enforce health and safety policies, conducting regular site inspections to maintain a safe work environment.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to address challenges and resolve issues in the field.</li><li>Track progress, prepare daily/weekly site reports, and maintain accurate project documentation.</li><li>Ensure effective use of manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency.</li><li>Lead site meetings and provide clear direction to crews and subcontractors.</li><li>Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement on the job site.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction, with at least 1 years in a Superintendent role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities, earthworks).</li><li>Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse crews and subcontractors.</li><li>Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.</li><li>Solid understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.</li><li>Commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.</li><li>Proficiency in project management software and MS Office is an asset.</li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites across Toronto and surrounding areas.</li></ul><p>Benefits</p><ul><li>Competitive salary up to $130,000 and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects across the GTA.</li><li>Supportive team environment with opportunities for career growth and development.</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
