We are currently seeking an energetic and safety minded Class 1 driver to join our team based in Halifax.  Previous driving experience (3+years in Canada) and a clean driving record is a must. </p><p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p><p>Ensuring safety and security of cargo</p><p>Hauling various scrap products</p><p>Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries</p><p>Properly record hours and mileage in logbook</p><p>Maintain cleanliness of vehicle</p><p>Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management</p><p>Qualifications and Skills:</p><ul><li>Must hold valid Class 1 License</li><li>Clean Drivers Abstract</li><li>Minimum 3 years driving experience in Canada</li></ul><p>What We Offer:</p><ul><li>Health, Dental and Vision benefits</li><li>RRSP Match </li><li>Company bonus</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Full-time, permanent work</li></ul><p>Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.</p><p>*Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in Nova Scotia.
