About the Role:
Are you a visionary in data architecture, passionate about driving cutting-edge solutions in banking and finance? As an Enterprise Data Architect specializing in Data & Analytics, you’ll play a critical role in shaping data strategies, leading architecture initiatives, and partnering with key business and technology stakeholders to implement robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Enterprise Data & Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Design and oversee large-scale enterprise data architectures, leveraging leading technologies and cloud solutions.
- Evaluate and guide solution architecture design, buy vs. build decisions, and project estimations that contribute to business success.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, including CXOs and D&A leaders, to drive data transformation strategies.
- Lead multi-million dollar data transformation initiatives, building strategic roadmaps and positioning solutions effectively.
- Define data and technology architecture patterns for on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Manage data modeling, data warehousing, and integration efforts, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
What You Bring:
- 18+ years of experience in Data & Analytics Architecture, with at least 12 years in strategy and solutioning.
- Expertise in Enterprise Data Architecture & Roadmapping, effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong cloud architecture experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) across large-scale projects (2-3+ years).
- Deep knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Talend, dbt, and data virtualization tools.
- Demonstrated experience in Big Data, data warehousing, data analytics, and enterprise-level information management.
- Proven ability to lead large transformation efforts, defining multi-year strategic roadmaps.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to conduct architecture reviews and oversee data movement, warehousing, and delivery across initiatives.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in a CDO/CDAO role leading high-level strategy development.
- Consulting experience with a focus on solutioning and data-driven business transformation.
- Deep understanding of banking, financial services, and insurance sectors with strong business acumen.
