Job Overview
Responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, tracking, analysis, and reporting of financial data. Also involved in the full accounting cycle and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering & Strategic Support : Act as the primary finance liaison for Marketing, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Financial Guidance : Support new product launches and costing.
- Planning & Forecasting : Collaborate with Marketing to set sales and margin targets and track market share projections.
- Financial Modeling & Decision Support : Develop business cases for marketing initiatives with scenario analysis.
- Process Improvement & Compliance : Enhance reporting processes, ensure internal control compliance, and maintain costing tools.
- Reporting & Insights : Measure and report on category margins monthly, analyze performance vs. prior year and budget, and present findings to Marketing quarterly.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a college diploma or university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an analyst role.
- Strong communication, organizational, and MS Office skills, especially PivotTables and formulas.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple deadlines.
