    • Familiarity with labour legislation
    • Experience with employeesatisfaction surveys
    • Previousexposure to the construction industry will be a plus


    Qualifications:

    • BSc in Human Resources Management,Organizational Psychology, Finance or relevant field
    • Proficiency with MicrosoftWord, Excel, and Outlook
    • Certification in CompensationProfessional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) will be a plus

Canadian Turner Constructionis hiring a Compensation& Benefits Manager to join our growing team. Compensation andBenefits Manager responsibilities include researching employee motives,implementing appealing rewards and tailoring benefit programs based on staffneeds. To be successful in this role, you should have good knowledge of labour legislation andlocal compensation and benefits trends, and be familiar withorganizational psychology and employee engagement.

Ultimately,you will build fair and attractive compensation and benefits plans that help both Turner and Clark Builders improve employee satisfaction and create a productive workplace.


Reports to: HR Director, Canada

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Design compensation packagesand bonus programs that align with the company’s strategic plan
  • Ensure salaries and benefitscomply with the current legislation about human rights and pay equity
  • Identify trends and implementnew practices to engage and motivate employees
  • Conduct research on employeesatisfaction (e.g. using surveys and quantitative data)
  • Renew our compensation planswith monetary and non-monetary benefits based on employee needs
  • Keep track of prevailing payrates and make sure we offer competitive compensation plans
  • Draft job descriptions, jobanalyses and classifications
  • Structure compensation in waysthat will yield the highest value for the organization
  • Evaluate and report on theeffectiveness of employee benefit programs
  • Track compensation and benefitsbenchmarking data
  • Workinterdisciplinary with multiple departments and across several regions
