Our Finance Transformation practice delivers innovative analytical solutions that enhance the accuracy, visibility, and efficiency of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.</p><p>We are seeking a Finance Transformation Consultant with deep expertise in financial reporting, data reconciliation, and system integration. In this role, you will help clients modernize their finance operations by integrating data from multiple ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and developing automated reporting frameworks that improve speed, transparency, and control.</p><p>Profile</p><p>A detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive professional experienced in financial systems, reporting, and analytics, passionate about shaping the future of finance through data-driven transformation.</p><p>Educational Qualification</p><p>Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).</p><p>Typical Experience, Skills, and Expertise</p><p>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with strong quantitative and analytical background.</p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or finance transformation roles.</li><li>Proven experience working with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or NetSuite) and understanding data flow between ledgers, sub-ledgers, and reporting layers.</li><li>Excel – Must Have (Advanced User) Candidates must demonstrate advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel as a core tool for financial analysis and reporting, including:</li><li>Building and automating financial models and reconciliations.</li><li>Creating and managing PivotTables, Power Query, and Power Pivot for data transformation and analysis</li><li>Using advanced formulas and functions (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, array formulas).</li><li>Data validation, cleaning, and transformation for large financial datasets.</li><li>Visualizing data through dynamic dashboards and layouts integrated with other BI tools.</li></ul><p>Additional Technical and Professional Skills</p><ul><li>Advanced proficiency in Power BI or similar platforms (Tableau preferred).</li><li>Advanced proficiency in SQL (Required): Ability to write complex queries to extract, join, and analyze financial data from relational databases.</li><li>Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms is a significant plus.</li><li>Understanding of data pipelines and system integration concepts (e.g., ETL/ELT processes, API data flow) to support the connection between ERPs and reporting layers.</li><li>Familiarity with data modeling and ETL workflows for financial data integration.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.</li><li>Proven skill in financial data reconciliation—reviewing, validating, and aligning data across systems.</li><li>Ability to translate financial and business requirements into automated data-driven reporting.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders.</li><li>Project management experience and a continuous improvement mindset toward finance process automation and reporting optimization.</li><li>Highly organized with a detail-oriented approach to managing complex datasets; demonstrates time flexibility to meet project deadlines and peak client requirements (e.g., system go-lives).</li></ul><p>Primary Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Design and develop financial reporting solutions integrating data across multiple financial systems.</li><li>Lead financial data reconciliation initiatives, identifying and resolving discrepancies across ledgers and sub-systems.</li><li>Build scalable Excel-based models and reports to support monthly close, forecasting, and strategic insights.</li><li>Implement data transformation and reporting frameworks using Excel, Power Query, and BI tools.</li><li>Support process automation and standardization of financial reporting workflows.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to finance teams, supporting the adoption of tools and new analytical methods.</li><li>Continuously assess, document, and improve financial data integrity, process efficiency, and system usability.</li><li>Act as a dedicated team player to bridge the gap between Finance, IT, and Operations; proactively lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve data bottlenecks and keep project timelines on track.</li></ul><p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about finance, analytics, and transformation—delivering insights that directly enhance business performance and financial transparency.</p><p>Don't meet every qualification?
