<br><br><h2><br><br>Job Description<br><br></h2><br><br><p>We're a naan traditional company…</p><h2>Summary</h2><p>Reporting to the Operational Excellence Team Leader, the Continuous Improvement Engineer will initiate and drive execution on projects related to standardizing best practices, continually reducing costs and increasing overall efficiencies; all within a fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment.</p><p>What FGF Offers</p><ul><li>FGF believes in Home Grown Talent, accelerated career growth with leadership training. Unleashing Your Potential.</li><li>Competitive Compensation, Health Benefits, & a generous flexible medical / Health spending account.</li><li>RRSP matching program.</li><li>Tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping etc.</li></ul><h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>As part of the Operational Excellence (OpEx) team, work on multiple projects related to operations, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sanitation, Quality, and Maintenance & Reliability</li><li>Collect and analyze data following a structured methodology (DMAIC) to implement sustainable improvements in all aspects of Operations</li><li>Working with a multidisciplinary team, the CI Engineer will support planning and execution of key continuous improvement projects under the guidance of the OpEx Team Leader</li><li>Support commissioning activities of new equipment and manufacturing lines</li><li>Create an environment which continues to foster continuous improvement and lean manufacturing</li><li>Lead training sessions for multiple teams including Production, Sanitation, Quality, and Maintenance </li><li>Support troubleshooting and driving completion of projects to enable them to be brought to fruition</li><li>Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times</li><li>Working in automation and development of prototype applications</li></ul><h2>Required Experience</h2><ul><li>Completed Post-Secondary education Engineering, Business Management or a related field</li><li>1+ year experience in a Continuous Improvement role in a lean manufacturing environment (co-op is considered).</li><li>Certifications in Lean Six Sigma is an asset.</li><li>Experience with Excel Functions and VBA is required.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Bi, PowerApps, Power Automate, etc. or interest in learning) is an asset.</li><li>Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li><li>Prior work experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.</li><li>Must possess excellent analytical skills.</li><li>Must have demonstrated ability to interact with others and is adept at leading and motivating a team.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required.</li><li>Flexible to work different work schedules when needed.</li><li>Must be flexible, high energy and passionate in operating in a fast paced environment.</li><li>Valid Ontario G driver's license is required.</li></ul><p>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?<br><br>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment As a successful company that is continually growing there is always challenging yet rewarding work to be a part of. We have an <em>entrepreneurial </em>spirit which encourages all our team members to use their own <em>creativity</em> and <em>out of the box</em> thinking to come up with solutions and new ideas.</p><p>In compliance with Ontario's Bill 190, we confirm that this posting represents a current, existing vacancy within our organization.</p><p>Disclaimer: The above describes the general responsibilities, required knowledge and skills. Please keep in mind that other duties may be added or this description may be amended at any time.</p><p>#LI-ONSITE</p><p>#LI-CV1</p><br>Create Your Resume First
