You will be responsible for overseeing and managing various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Perfect for a seasoned Senior Accountant with a strong public accounting background who is eager to take on a demanding role. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of diverse accounting standards and a proven track record of success. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, ASPE).
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform complex reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA designation is highly preferred, or actively being pursued.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong public accounting firm background is highly desirable
• Experience in the property management industry is an asset.
• Demonstrated expertise in a variety of accounting standards.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with relevant accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) is an asset.
• Ability to thrive in a results-driven culture.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
