We would love for you to join us and be part of the Boiling Point family!</p><p><strong>Purpose & Summary:</strong></p><p>To provide patron satisfaction in our restaurant that revolves around preparing food for recipe execution, appearance, and quality of food to lead to an overall great dining experience for the patrons.</p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner</li><li>Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by BP’s gold standard</li><li>Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station</li><li>Responsible for maintaining all equipment machines to prepare food including powering on and off at the beginning and close of the restaurant</li><li>Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils</li><li>Verify that prepared food meets BP requirements for quality</li><li>Maintain personal health and sanitation standards</li><li>Must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP's guidelines</li><li>Ensure compliance with BP’s code of ethics, integrity and conduct</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>1+ year of experience working in a restaurant environment, preferably as a cook</li><li>Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills</li><li>Able to multitask and work in a team environment</li><li>Must be proficient in computer knowledge including MS Office Suite products</li><li>High School diploma preferred</li><li>All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process</li></ul><p><strong>Physical demands:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to continuously stand or walk</li><li>Ability to bend and lift occasionally</li><li>Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently</li></ul><p><strong>Work environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Work will be conducted in a restaurant environment</li><li>May encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment in the kitchen if needed to enter that area</li><li>May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces</li><li>Noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud</li></ul><p>We’ve come a long way since we opened our first location in 2004.
