<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p></p><p>THOAR Mining provides a wide variety of services in the support and operation of mining, ranging from project management, supervision, underground construction, maintenance, and mining equipment operation.</p><p>We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Contract Coordinator to provide onsite coordination between the Construction Management Team and the contractor's Underground Maintenance team at a potash mine site. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills with maintenance experience.</p><p>If you are a Contract Coordinator with a commitment to safety, quality, diversity, and inclusion, and teamwork, we want to hear from you!</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>Act as the primary to support the Underground Maintenance Supervisors.<br />Attend and actively participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, construction coordination meetings, and ad-hoc discussions regarding construction priorities.<br />Monitor and assess contractor performance in the field, ensuring that work is progressing in line with project schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations.<br />Identify potential safety concerns in the field and work proactively with the team to develop and implement safe work plans.<br />Work in client SAP system to create reactive notifications, search for parts in the warehousing system.<br />Assist with advancing kitting and staging for the maintenance teams. <br />Qualifications:</p><p>5 years of experience in coordination, preferably in large-scale industrial or heavy industry projects.<br />Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license for travel to site.<br />Demonstrated ability to monitor contractor performance, assess progress, and ensure compliance with project and safety requirements.<br />Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving construction-related issues in the field.<br />Proven ability to work collaboratively with field engineers, contractor supervision, and construction management teams.<br />Commitment to fostering a safe work environment and identifying potential safety risks in the field.
