The candidate will have completed theirpost secondaryeducation studiesand is able <span >todemonstrateunderstanding</span> of key development and construction concepts. Construction industry experience is favourable for this position.</p><p><br /></p><p>Applicants should be self-motivated, efficient, and positive <span >toassistinourbusiness</span> strategic growth plan, which willafford you the opportunities torapidly grow your career.</p><p><br /></p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Review and analysis of progress draw submissions including schedule of values, invoices, change orders, holdback, and construction schedule.<br /></li><li>Site visit reviews of work completed against value claimed.<br /></li><li>Analysis of invoices to determine allocation for holdback, taxes, credits, etc.<br /></li><li>Preparation of monthly draw reports for funding recommendation to developers, contractors, and lenders.<br /></li><li>Phone and face to face meetings with relevant parties to resolve billing issues, and to discuss feasibility of budgets prepared alongside senior staff.<br /></li><li>Take-off and estimation utilizing Bluebeam software on PDF drawings.<br /></li><li>Analysis of estimates and comparison of unit rates for materials, labour, etc.<br /></li><li>From time to time, you may be provided with opportunities that are not outlined in your job description.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>REQUIRED</p><ul><li>Graduate from a post-secondary institution<br /></li><li>Excellent command of English, both oral and written<br /></li><li>Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel to formulate calculations<br /></li><li>Desire to attain PQS qualification</li><li>Valid drivers licence (G), and access to car for site visits<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>PREFERRED</p><ul><li>Experience with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff,Planswift, or similar.</li></ul><p></p><p>BENEFITS</p><ul><li>Competitive base salary.</li><li>Performance related annual bonus structure.</li><li>4 Weeks Vacation plus Statutory Holidays.</li><li>Mobile phone expense.</li><li>Comprehensive Medical and Dental Plan.</li><li>Company Pension Plan with Employer Contributions.</li><li>Paid Professional Membership Dues (if applicable).</li></ul><p></p><p>HOW TO APPLY</p><p>Provide a detailed resume and covering letter including details of recent and significant projects, plus achievements.</p></p></p>
