We are currently hiring class 1 driver teams for Canada/US ground transportation.
Location:
Based near Pearson Airport, ON – Must be able to travel to Joliette, QC for training
Job Type:
Full-Time Cross-Border Team Driving (2 Drivers per Truck)
Compensation: $0.40 per mile (per driver) 3,000 miles per trip $1,400 per trip (take-home)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a refrigerated truck as part of a two-person driving team
- Cross-border transportation (Canada/US)
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate logs and adhere to all DOT and border regulations
Requirements:
- Valid AZ License with minimum of 1 year of cross-border (Canada/US) experience
- Must be in a team (applicants without a teammate will not be considered)
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Must be currently eligible to enter and transit through the US
- Must pass a drug screening
- Fluent in English (French is an asset)
- Able to be on the road for up to 14 days per trip
- Own Blue Cross travel insurance for 17 days with $2M liability coverage
Training:
- Mandatory in-person training in Joliette, Quebec
- Mileage and accommodation costs are covered by the client
- Successful completion of training is required to begin work
Compensation:
- $0.40 per mile while driving
- Average 3,000 miles per trip
- Approximate take-home pay of $1,400 per trip
