This role is critical to building and optimizing our data and analytics infrastructure, enabling informed decision-making and driving financial performance across our dealership network. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with advanced data analytics skills to deliver actionable insights and scalable solutions.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-time<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> $100,000 – $110,000 per year + 10% performance-based bonus</p><strong><br /></strong><strong>What We Offer</strong><ul><li><strong>Health & Dental Care and Employee Assistance Program:</strong> Access a wide range of medical, dental, and mental wellness services to keep you and your family healthy.</li><li><strong>RRSP:</strong> Secure your future with our retirement savings plan.</li><li><strong>Paid Time Off:</strong> Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule.</li><li><strong>Career Growth and Development:</strong> Access to paid training, NADA courses for various departments, and internal professional and career development opportunities.</li></ul><strong><br /></strong><strong>What Your Day Will Look Like</strong><ul><li>Design and implement a centralized data warehouse and reporting infrastructure</li><li>Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (sales, service, finance, CRM)</li><li>Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to support strategic decisions</li><li>Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple business units</li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership</li><li>Identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth</li><li>Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams to deliver actionable insights</li><li>Ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls</li></ul><strong><br /></strong><strong>Who You Are</strong><p><strong>Technical Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field</li><li>3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or FP&A (automotive or retail industry experience is an asset)</li><li>Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling)</li><li>Proficiency in SQL and Power BI or Tableau for data visualization</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM platforms</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication skills to present complex data clearly</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>MBA/CPA or CFA designation (or in progress) is an asset</li><li>Knowledge of Canadian GAAP and IFRS</li><li>Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning tools is a plus</li><li>Collaborative mindset and adaptability to evolving business needs</li></ul><strong><br /></strong><strong>Requirement</strong><p>Valid BC driver’s license and vehicle for travel to lower mainland dealerships when required.</p><strong><br /></strong><strong>About Us</strong><p>Be part of an amazing team that lives their values out loud each day! <strong>Trotman Auto Group</strong> is a leading dealer group in British Columbia, representing fourteen major OEM brands through thirteen dealerships.
