Required Skills & Experience
– 10+ years experience in data modeling, data architecture, and data integration.
– Experience with wealth/investment data – client, account, holdings, transactions, performance.
– Proven ability to design and implement curated datasets that integrate data from multiple systems/platforms for parallel platform migration scenarios.
– Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
– Strong expertise in SQL-based relational databases like MS SQL Server, Netezza.
– Solid experience in AWS data services like S3, Glue Studio, Redshift.
– Hands-on experience with DataOps platforms/toolsets and agile data delivery.
– Experience working in Agile Scrum/kanban delivery environments with strong stakeholder communication and technical documentation skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
– Familiarity with AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue Catalog, and data mesh principles is a plus.
– Knowledge of investment platform data models (e.g., CRDs, Wealth360, Broadridge, SEI, or similar) is a strong asset.
– Familiarity with DevOps for data and CI/CD for data pipelines.
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Data Integration Specialist to join a Canadian banking client to lead the design, modeling, and implementation of scalable high performing curated wealth investment data layer that integrates investment data from multiple platforms. This role will be instrumental in enabling consistent, high-quality investment data views across both legacy and new platforms during a multi-phase migration program. This work will ensure accurate client/account mapping across platforms, high data quality, and readiness for consumption by reporting, analytics, and downstream applications. You will work with MS SQL Server, Netezza, and parallelly design and implement an AWS-based data layer using S3, Glue Studio, Redshift, and AWS DataOps tools. This role will be a 12 month contract with potential extensions and it will be hybrid in Downtown Toronto.
