Location: Don Mills -Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Responsibilities:
– Act as lead in developing and managing data base architecture
– Manage and organize Azure database framework
– Develop data mapping methods
– Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of the data lake
– Ability to visualize data using statistical and graphical techniques
– Manage and create Tableau data flows, customization views
– Develop Power BI visualizations
– Automate data flows via various incoming formats and structures
– Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, standards and delivery
– Identify and implement the right tech stack, driving adoption of BI tools and maintaining data warehouse technologies
– Ensure effective data governance, accuracy, and consistency across all BI initiatives
– Create and manage automated workflows across all workgroups
– Research and learn new technologies and processes to improve data flow efficiencies
– Contribute to development of AI tools for workforce
– Act as knowledge and expert resource for entire team
– Use predictive modeling to optimize data outputs and insights
– Communicating and coordinating with teams to implement data-driven strategies while measuring progress
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Post-secondary education with data science background
- End to end data science experience with proven ability to take models from research and development to full integration
- Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines that allow seamless integration of models into production environments.
- Familiar with large data platforms specifically Azure
- Experience with Tableau visualization and reporting including creating data stories through dashboards, reporting and visualizations.
- Self-Starter with business acumen
- Keen desire to grow and develop skills

- Ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions
