<p>Position Summary...<br>A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.</p><p>What You'll Do...</p><ul><li>Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location</li><li>Rotates stock and checks for expired products.</li><li>Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.</li><li>Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.</li><li>Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.</li><li>Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.</li><li>Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.</li><li>Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.</li><li>Available works on weekend</li></ul><p>The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
