Job Description

<p>Our client, Purolator, is seeking a <strong>Courier</strong> to join their team. As a <strong>Courier</strong>, you will be part of the <strong>Operations Department</strong> supporting <strong>Logistics and Delivery Teams</strong>. The ideal candidate will have <strong>strong problem-solving skills</strong>, <strong>excellent time management</strong>, and <strong>attention to detail</strong>, which will align successfully in the organization.</p>

<p><strong>Job Title: Utility Courier<br>
Location: Dartmouth, NS<br>
Shift: 30 hours/week - Flexibility required<br>
Pay Rate: $21.20/hour</strong><br>

<p><strong>What’s the Job?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
<li>Scan packages/mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
<li>Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
<li>Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)
<li>Advise the unit manager when inspections fail
</ul>

<p><strong>What’s Needed?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Valid Class 5 Driver's License for at least 3 years required
<li>No more than four (4) demerit points on Driver's Abstract
<li>Must successfully pass Defensive Driving and Courier Methods training
<li>Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills
</ul>
