You can learn more about our Company, Culture and Values here:https://www.tactable.io/careers.Job Responsibilities:Manage a diverse team of global software developers, testers and operations engineersOversee solution delivery from planning to deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.Set clear direction and vision, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Provide hands-on technical leadership in the development, deployment, and operation of distributed systems.Manage and prioritize a backlog of tasks and tickets across multiple teams.Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve performance, security, and reliability.Communicate effectively with stakeholders through presentations, documentation, and regular updates.Promote best practices in software engineering, infrastructure management, and operational excellence.Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and support cross-functional teams in resolving issues.Contribute to strategic planning and provide input into long-term technology roadmaps.Required Core Skills:Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development and/or technology infrastructure and operations.Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects and deliver results on time.Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting and collaborative problem-solving skillsBroad understanding of the technologies used to build, deploy and operate distributed application systemsFast learner with a passion for emerging technologies.Positive, “can-do” attitude with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.Collaborative, results-oriented leadership style with a hands-on approach.Motivated by solving complex business and technical challenges in a fast-moving environment.You must be located in Toronto and eligible to work in Canada to be considered for this roleNice to Have:Start up experienceExperience in the financial services industry or working with financial data/systemsExperience working with SaaS productsFamiliarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and/or AzureWorked in high growth scale up environmentsWhat We OfferHybrid working modelComprehensive Health BenefitsGenerous holidays and flexible PTOLaptop/Equipment providedPotential for professional growth and advancement
