What You Will Do
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems using Jenkins (with shared libraries) and GitHub Actions.
- Develop automated workflows for building, testing, and deploying firmware in Windows-based environments.
- Troubleshoot integration, build, and deployment issues with a focus on performance, reliability, and traceability.
- Work closely with developers to streamline pipelines that support C-based embedded software development.
- Support integration with Jira, Confluence, and Polarion, automating workflows and aligning tools with ASPICE-compliant processes.
- Create and manage REST API-based integrations across toolchains to automate tasks and connect systems.
- Collaborate on firmware validation workflows, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, unit testing, code coverage, and static analysis.
- Utilize tools such as VectorCAST, IAR Embedded Workbench, and MATLAB/Simulink to support embedded software CI/CD.
- Apply knowledge of AI/ML techniques where appropriate to enhance pipeline monitoring or testing automation.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Control Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or software integration for embedded systems.
- Proficient in Jenkins (including pipeline-as-code and shared libraries) and GitHub Actions.
- Experience scripting in Python, Batch, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of C programming, embedded build processes, and Windows-based development environments.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Polarion for workflow and requirements management.
- Familiarity with REST APIs for automation and tool integration.
- Experience with firmware validation, including unit tests, static analysis tools, and code coverage.
- Familiarity with VectorCAST, IAR, and MATLAB/Simulink environments.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with automotive and safety-critical standards, including ASPICE, ISO 26262, and MISRA.
- Understanding of compliance processes and traceability requirements in regulated development environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in DevOps or test automation workflows.
