Help us on our path to becoming one of Canada's top storage companies</p><p>Digital Marketing Specialist – Job Description<br>The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for owning and optimizing the customer journey across digital channels, with a strong focus on lifecycle marketing, automation, and paid media performance. This role plays a critical part in driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value through data-driven digital strategies.</p><p>This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys building, testing, and optimizing campaigns end-to-end—not just coordinating execution.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Customer Lifecycle & Marketing Automation</p><ul><li>Own and manage all email marketing initiatives, including campaign planning, content development, scheduling, and performance reporting.</li><li>Design, build, and optimize end-to-end lifecycle programs, including lead nurturing, onboarding, retention, and win-back campaigns.</li><li>Develop and maintain advanced segmentation strategies to deliver targeted messaging across email, SMS, and in-platform communications.</li><li>Create and manage automated workflows and behavioral triggers that guide prospects and customers through each stage of the funnel.</li><li>Analyze customer behavior and funnel performance to identify drop-off points and conversion opportunities.</li><li>Continuously test and optimize campaigns using A/B and multivariate testing to improve engagement, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.</li></ul><p>Digital Advertising & Paid Media</p><ul><li>Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and META (Facebook/Instagram).</li><li>Build acquisition and remarketing campaigns aligned to business objectives and customer lifecycle stages.</li><li>Develop paid media creative and messaging strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.</li><li>Manage budgets, pacing, and performance to ensure strong ROI and cost efficiency.</li><li>Monitor campaign performance and provide clear reporting, insights, and recommendations for ongoing optimization.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between promotions, messaging, and customer experience.</li></ul><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li>3–5+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, or performance marketing.</li><li>Strong experience with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar).</li><li>Familiarity with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.</li><li>Experience supporting multi-location or multi-brand businesses.</li><li>Proven ability to build and optimize lifecycle journeys, automation workflows, and segmentation strategies.</li><li>Experience managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads and META platforms.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.</li><li>Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and owning results end-to-end.</li></ul><p>Nice to Have</p><ul><li>Experience with SMS marketing platforms.</li><li>Exposure to CRO, landing page optimization, or CRM integrations.</li></ul><p>Location and Travel:</p><ul><li>This is a hybrid role, with the option to report to our New Westminster or Woodbridge offices.
