These premier programs influence the lives of our local community and truly inspire our employees & volunteers.</p><p>We are looking for an enthusiastic & experienced Director of Fitness & Membership to manage the daily operations of membership services & lead the development, execution, & oversight of all health & fitness programs at our new facility in Moose Jaw.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Ensure alignment with Y Way service standards, oversee membership sign-ups, sales, & reporting, and ensure smooth daily operations of the fitness center, including equipment maintenance & safety.</li><li>Develop & meet sales goals for member growth & retention, and collaborate on membership sales & marketing strategies, including corporate membership expansion.</li><li>Oversee Health & Wellness, Group Fitness programs, and volunteer engagement activities, ensuring certifications are up to date.</li><li>Recruit, train, supervise, & schedule employees in Membership Services & Fitness.</li><li>Ensure the safety of members, staff, and property by adhering to YMCA standards.</li></ul><h3>Job Requirements</h3><ul><li>Post-secondary degree in Kinesiology, Health Education, 3-5 years of experience in health and fitness programming, and 2 years in management.</li><li>Current CSEP-CPT, CanFitPro, or YMCA Personal Training certification is required.</li><li>Current Group Fitness Certification (SPRA, CanFitPro, NASM, ACE, or YMCA group certification).</li><li>Ability to handle medical emergencies, work evenings & weekends, and lead moderate to high-intensity fitness classes.</li><li>Experience with CRM systems (ActiveNet) & scheduling platforms.</li><li>Current Standard First Aid & CPR-Level C</li><li>Clear criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Search</li></ul></p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
