The Principal ServiceNow Architect plays a key role in the Service Management team, responsible for the design, strategy, and direction of the enterprise ServiceNow platform. This role involves collaboration with Solution Architects, Platform Delivery leadership, Technical Architects, and Enterprise Architects to provide technological direction, thought leadership, and a technical vision for the platform.
Is this role right for you?
- Create, maintain, and communicate the enterprise ServiceNow architecture and best practices.
- Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor on ServiceNow architecture and roadmaps, maintaining relationships with technology leaders, vendors, and architects to develop the technical roadmap.
- Connect stakeholders, vendors, and partners to achieve business outcomes by identifying and communicating the capabilities needed to support business strategy, including future needs and opportunities.
- Envision and enable strategic capabilities for ServiceNow beyond ITSM/ITOM, such as Facilities, HR, CSM, and Cloud Management.
Skills and experience required:
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow best practices, roadmap, and features.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Industry and best practice knowledge (ITIL), with proven ITSM implementation experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- 7+ years of enterprise IT implementation experience.
- 5+ years in IT architecture, database design, and relational databases.
- 7+ years implementing ServiceNow or similar SaaS platforms, including integrations and CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping.
- Experience creating strategic plans and roadmaps for enterprise initiatives.
- 5+ years in Solution or Enterprise Architecture leadership roles.
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect preferred; ITIL Foundations certification.
