ContainerWorld is a state-of-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution Company located in Richmond, British Columbia, providing premier services for the beverage industry; with approximately employees throughout its B.C operations. ContainerWorld actively supports Lean Six Sigma concepts.

We are presently recruiting for a full-time Director of Warehouse Operations.


Our Director of Warehouse Operations will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and day-to-day operations of our warehouse and distribution centers. This leader will manage a team across multiple facilities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure high standards of productivity, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities :


  • Lead all aspects of warehouse operations, across several facilities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet KPIs.
  • Oversee staffing, training, and development of warehouse associates to build a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, customer service, and IT to support business objectives.
  • Identify and implement new technologies or systems to enhance warehouse productivity and visibility.
  • Monitor performance metrics and generate reports for executive leadership.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-site warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and Lean / Six Sigma practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


Other Skills

  • 3-5 years experience in an Unionized environment
  • Strong financial acumen, including an expert understanding of cost levers, continuous improvement productivity drivers, and LEAN concepts
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
