As an Early Careers Recruiter, you will play a critical role in building OPG’s future talent pipeline, partnering with business leaders, and ensuring recruitment processes and governance standards are maintained.</p><h3>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</h3><ul><li><b>Partner and Consult with Business Leaders: </b>Collaborate and consult with hiring managers to understand talent needs, provide strategic recommendations and guide them through the recruitment process. Build sourcing networks, and deliver a high-quality recruitment experience for hiring managers and candidates showcasing the full support available from the Recruitment & Onboarding team.</li><li><b>Hiring Needs Assessment: </b>Partner with hiring managers and Human Resources Consultant to forecast needs, build recruitment plans and ensure clear expectations, timelines, and support throughout the hiring and candidate evaluation process.</li><li><b>Candidate Screening: </b>Review and screen candidates to ensure best fit for OPG’s co-op and new graduate opportunities.</li><li><b>Recruitment Strategy & Approach </b>: Develop recruitment and onboarding strategies by aligning organizational objectives, reviewing job descriptions and consulting with hiring managers to determine the most effective sourcing approach.</li><li><b>Equity & Diversity Recruitment: </b>Champion OPG’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion by supporting diversity hiring initiatives across all disciplines, strengthening equity-focused recruitment efforts throughout the organization.</li><li><b>Business Change & Continuous Improvements: </b>Proactively seek out, identify, and implement process improvements that enhance business support, expand market reach, and strengthen overall recruitment efficiency and effectiveness. Demonstrate a questioning attitude by challenging the status quo and recommending innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.</li><li><b>Industry Best Practices: </b>Engage in relevant networks and forums to stay current on recruitment, talent attraction, and contractor management best practices.</li><li><b>Partnerships: </b>Build strong partnerships with universities, colleges and student groups and represent OPG at Campus events.</li><li><b>Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Data and Metrics: </b>Actively use the applicant tracking system to maintain accurate recruitment data and ensure dashboards and reports reflect reliable, up ‑ to ‑ date metrics.</li></ul><h3>QUALIFICATIONS</h3><ul><li>4 Year University Degree in Social Sciences, Business, Human Resources, or a related field with relevant experience.</li><li>At least 4 years of hands-on experience in campus or new graduate recruitment</li><li>Demonstrated passion for early careers recruiting and supporting the growth of emerging talent.</li><li>Demonstrated capability of advising and guiding hiring managers and candidates throughout all stages of the recruitment process.</li><li>Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external talent, representing OPG as a professional brand ambassador.</li><li>Experience recruiting equity ‑ deserving candidates, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, and coordinating necessary accommodations.</li></ul><p>The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values, and the OPG Code of Business Conduct.</p><p>OPG is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and accessible environment.
