Our programs emphasize foundational skills in reading, phonics, and math, fostering confidence and a love of learning in children. We also value versatility in our team, including the ability to provide support in French when needed.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Teach early reading, phonics, and math to children in kindergarten and early elementary grades.</li><li>Create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to individual needs.</li><li>Follow the Oxford Learning curriculum and teaching methods to deliver high-quality lessons.</li><li>Provide feedback on student progress through Lesson Planner Reviews (LPRs).</li><li>Work with French studnts, or serve as a backup for French instruction when necessary.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with young children in teaching, coaching, or after-school settings.</li><li>Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) certification is a strong asset.</li><li>French-speaking ability is required for occasional backup French coverage.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for connecting with young learners.</li><li>Passionate about education and helping children thrive academically and personally.</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule / Availability:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.</li><li>Availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays is an asset but not required.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary: </strong>$19 / hour</p><p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible part-time schedule.</li><li>A chance to make a meaningful impact in children’s education.</li><li>A collaborative and dynamic work environment.</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>If you’re passionate about working with children, fluent in French, and available on the specified days, we’d love to hear from you!
