Job Description
Our manufacturing client in the SE of Calgary is looking for an experienced and dedicated Electric Pallet Jack Operator for a one-month assignment starting at the beginning of June. This person will be responsible for operating an electric pallet jack to safely move and lift pallets within the warehouse facility.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maneuvering the electric pallet jack to transport materials and goods</li><li>Lifting and lowering pallets using the pallet jack's hydraulic system</li><li>Strapping and packaging pallets of materials for shipping</li><li>Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures</li><li>Performing routine inspections and maintenance on the pallet jack</li><li>Collaborating with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate product handling</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li> Certification in Electric Pallet Jack operation is required</li><li>Previous experience operating electric pallet jacks or similar powered industrial equipment</li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely in an industrial environment</li><li>Physically fit, capable of bending, pulling straps and lifting up to 50lbs</li><li>Excellent communciation skills, self-motivated and able to work in a team</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace</li><li>TDG and WHMIS certifications are considered an asset</li></ul>
This is a one-month temporary position with a start date of June 2, 2025.
